The drama follows Adam Lawrence, trained and groomed by MI6, whose career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most.

EXCLUSIVE: Prime Video's series adaptation of worldwide bestselling game franchise Fallout, from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's Kilter Films, is coming together. Nolan is set to direct the premiere of the series, which is slated to begin production in 2022. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley) have come aboard as showrunners.

The world of Fallout is one where the future envisioned by Americans in the late 1940s explodes upon itself through a nuclear war in 2077. The magic of the Fallout world is the harshness of the wasteland set against the previous generation's utopian idea of a better world through nuclear energy. It is serious and harsh in tone, yet sprinkled with moments of ironic humor.

 10-episode half-hour limited series from The Americans creative duo Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields, and FX Productions.

Also joining the cast are Linda Emond (Succession, The Gilded Age), Laura Niemi (This Is Us, Justified) and Andrew Leeds (The Dropout, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist).

Co-written by Fields and Weisberg, in The Patient, a psychotherapist (Carell) finds himself held prisoner by a serial killer (Gleeson) with an unusual request: curb his homicidal urges. But unwinding the mind of this man while also dealing with the waves of his own repressed troubles creates a journey perhaps as treacherous as his captivity.

Chris Long (The Americans, Suspicion) has come on board as an executive producer and will direct the first two episodes of the series, with production scheduled to begin this week. Kevin Bray (Succession, Insecure, The Americans, Run) and Gwyneth Horder-Payton (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, Pose, Pam & Tommy) will also be directing on the series.

Fields and Weisberg executive produce along with Carell, Caroline Moore, Victor Hsu and Long.

The broadcast network has handed a put pilot commitment to the sequel series to the classic ABC drama from Nkechi Okoro Carroll.

It comes after Okoro Carroll struck a major overall deal renewal at Warner Bros TV with plans to reboot the series, which ran on the Disney-owned network between 1989-93.

It has received a script deal with a big penalty if the script does not go to pilot – a pilot has not yet been ordered.

Okoro Carroll, who first moved her overall to Warner Bros in 2018, having previously been at 20th, will write and exec produce the Life Goes On sequel.

She is working on the project with original series cast members Kellie Martin and Chad Lowe, who will serve as producers on the project, and creator Michael Braverman, who will be an executive consultant.

The series centered on the Thatcher family from suburban Chicago and was the first TV show to have a major character with Down syndrome.

The sequel will revisit a grown-up Becca Thatcher, played by Martin, now an accomplished doctor, and her extended family as she returns to her hometown.
