LED alternative to LG OLED65G

Hi

Could you suggest an LED TV which would be a reasonably close alternative to the LG OLED65G

I'd dropped you a post in the other thread but the closest LED we would have to it would be the Samsung QE65QN94A:

It wouldn't be as good as the OLED for picture but is still a great panel and the closest you'll get without the risk of burn in!

Thanks David. I see you also have the QE65QN95A. What is the difference between that and the 94A?

Hi cracker,

The only difference is the QN95 uses the One Connect Box and the QN94 doesn't. They both have identical specs!

Am I correct that the One Connect provides 4 HDMI 2.1 ports compared to the 1 on the QN94? That would sway me towards the 95N for future proofing. My AV receiver does not have any HDMI 2.1 ports but I figure I could feed the streaming boxes into the One Connect for the higher refresh rates on the TV and then use eArc for audio back to the receiver. Does that make sense?

The only only other thing is the lack of Dobly Vision on the Samsung boxes. If there was another comparable LED with more 2.1 HDMI ports and Dobly Vision I would be interested in that.

Hi Cracker.

The 95N has 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs on the one connect box.

You can connect to the one connect box for the video and then use eARC for the audio back to your receiver. This is a very common thing to do if your receiver does not support HDMI 2.1.

I can't think of anything else to consider to compare to the QLED 95N for picture quality without going back to OLED.

My heart is ruling over my head so I am leaning back towards the OLED65G. Do you have these in stock and what would be the best price and delivery estimate for this with the optional feet as I won't be wall mounting it.

I'm actually completely sold out of both the TV and the feet. I'm HOPING to get some of the Tvs before Christmas but have no guarantees and we have no ETA on the stand. Would the C14 be of interest to you?
