I want to purchase an indoor camera that will allow me to monitors my dogs when I'm out. New puppy with 2 older dogs and am concerned fighting might occur. My head is bothered looking at multitudes of such cameras on Amazon and it has occurred to me I might be better getting something like aNest or Ring camera from Harvey Norman's or Curry's locally. Might choose a system and build on it for home security over time. Which do people find most effective and user friendly for luddites?

I should mention I want a camera that allows 2 way audio communication.

Ring cameras are Great. Ring doorbells (in my opinion) are crap.

I use both Ring and Arlo camera systems, the ring is great for alerts, the images are clear and the "talk" function is good. The same cannot be said for the door bell.

When away from the doggies (which is a rare event) they do get used to the camera being able to see and talk to them.

Good to know. What is the issue with the doorbell?

We had the original, just broke down after a few months. We got the pro version, while it does "ring", the connection to camera time is too long. We have fast internet in the office and a few doors, it is easier to connect to the camera (not doorbell) to see who is there.
