Soffit and gutter of extension overhanging boundary wall

Hi everyone, quick question there. If I built an extension and my new soffit and gutter were overhanging the boundary wall into my neighbour's property (by about 100mm) would they be within their rights to ask me to remove it? I suspect yes but just checking. Thanks.
