    Thanks for the advice. I passed my theory test, so I might as well get the learners permit and take things from there.


    I went into a motorbike shop after passing the theory and I was just pricing things. Expensive at the start. I'm looking at 2500-3000 for a second hand bike and safety gear. Then another €1000 for bike training and insurance.


    Whereas, a cheap second hand car for €3000 and expensive insurance for €2000. Feels like I'm getting more with the bike, but at the same time, a car keeps you dry.
