any good videos for a new user of solar?

Got a system in a few months ago.Its a 4kw system consisting of 12 panels, a solis hybrid inverter, a 2.4kwh battery and an eddi water diverter. Also have a zappi hooked up to it.

My main query is on information about the day to day usage of it, and if there is any tweaking i can/should do.

I have the myenergi app, which shows some good basic info, but nothing about the battery or solis side of it.

Climbing into my crawlspace in attic, i can see the inverter has a nice screen with info on battery, and how power moves around. Now i dont want to go randomly pushing buttons, but would like to know more about the operation of it!any good sources of info?

You need to download SolisCloud app which will give you remote information from your Solis inverter. Your installer should have set this up for you (assuming you have the wifi dongle sticking out of the bottom of the inverter?)

I was out of the house that day, left me with a little box from the data logging stick with instructions to download the solis home app.

I did that, got it setup, shows most info but I dont think i can see anything in there about the battery itself.

Actually found the option in the solis app to say that i had battery storage, just enabling it showed the readings from the battery too, so I am ok now, thanks.

If you do not have anything connected to backup power socket on the inverter then disable it from Solis menu. It does use power even when there is nothing connected.

Advanced settings>Control parameter. First option should be Backup Supply. Set it to Disabled.

Once setting is applied in the main information screen you should see the light bulb and the arrow pointing at it gone.
