Planning for change of use

    Hi all

    I’m looking into purchasing 0.5acre adjacent to my house to extend my garden. It’s currently agricultural land. I’ve looked to find info on if planning is required to change it from agri to residential but can’t seem to find any. I’ve no intentions of building on it as of right now but maybe that might change in 15 or 20 years when the kids grow up.

    anyone have any idea of what the process is
