Alcatel 1 contact not showing up in messages app?

    One of my contacts on my Alcatel 1 smartphone is not showing up in my inbox. Just one contact. The rest are ok.

    I have tried the following;

    Installing latest system update

    Saving the number again in my contacts

    Clearing cache in both Messages and Contacts apps.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Got it sorted:

    For anyone with similar problem here is how I fixed it:

    Uninstalled the default 'Messages' app and re- installed it.

    (Don't worry it doesn't delete any messages) Everything back to normal after trying above method)
