RTE down playing Dublin as usual, unbeaten run of 45 games, unbeaten in 6 years and haven't won against Dublin in 9 years. The whole thing if you ask me is geared against Dublin from the bat.

Great for Mayo and great for football. End of a great Dublin team. Lot of trampish behavior but Mayo stood strong and steadfast. Young boys were great.

Absolute scutter from RTE there. The best teams in GAA history didn't need money pumped into them, several multiples of what was given to any other county for years, until it was harder to lose than win.

the rot set in years ago in dublin and it’s well entrenched there now
