He's happy to send them all off now that the game is no longer in the balance

    Justice for modern football.

Defeat for cynicism and a style turning neutrals away in their droves.

No other side has ever had players like McMahon used specifically to agitate the opposition.

The coddle will be extra salty tonight.

Lazarus would be proud of that one

Dublin just trying to give a few digs before they go home.

It's a shame that money can't buy class!

Goodbye to the boys in blue. You won't be missed.

Can only imagine the frenzy they'll whip themselves into in Mayo over the next few weeks.

RTE down playing Dublin as usual, unbeaten run of 45 games, unbeaten in 6 years and haven't won against Dublin in 9 years. The whole thing if you ask me is geared against Dublin from the bat.

Typical response from a jackeen. A very sore jackeen at that.

Yes Yes Yes delighted for Mayo they were the better team. Thank you Mayo for doing the whole Country a favour and stopping Dublin. Can not wait to see Kildare give Dublin a real match next year and maybe even beat them.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    Credit to mayo. Deserving winners.

They need to win the final though!

Galway band playing over the sound system?

For what. James McCarthy elbowing a Mayo lad is it 🙄

45 games unbeaten was some feat, but some players let the Dublin team very badly today. Oh to be from Mayo on a day like today would be heaven

They will probably lose the final

Really disappointing to see that stuff on the field from Dublin.

Some about of bad tackles from Dublin today

What are the Mayo fans singing?

Maybe dial down on the celebrations ?, its not the final

Great for Mayo and great for football. End of a great Dublin team. Lot of trampish behavior but Mayo stood strong and steadfast. Young boys were great.

    The greatest of champions! HAHA!

Absolute scutter from RTE there. The best teams in GAA history didn't need money pumped into them, several multiples of what was given to any other county for years, until it was harder to lose than win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 195 ✭✭Jackben75

Well done Mayo. Congrats Kerry, nothing to stop them now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,741 ✭✭✭✭lawred2

I'm delighted. So happy for those Mayo lads. They've given so much in the last decade. Tragic thing is they could still end the year with nothing.

    I hope not

Dublin players throw the toys out of the pram. Good riddance, well done Mayo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,444 ✭✭✭✭namloc1980

Just goes to show they win 6 in a row but couldn't buy class. To go down in disgrace is kind of fitting.

Well done to Mayo, . Dublin run had to end sometime , a lot of focus will turn on Dessie as the team lost with a wimper and have looked vulnerable alL season.

That type of performance typifies why genuine neutrals could never support dublin - despicable from top to bottom

the rot set in years ago in dublin and it’s well entrenched there now

The old financial doping didn’t work out for them this year and no doubt they’ll be back wanting more money in a few weeks

that ref was a disgrace too
