Ah it was a black. Dublin are genius at the player giving the pass drifting in front of the player coming into make a tackle. They were caught there.

Rumour has it Tyrone want back in for some reason.

Didn't see this coming but have to say we've been fairly negative. Rather pass backwards than risk any pass forward thats not 100% guaranteed and its backfired spectacularly now.

Mayo playing Dublin at their own game now. Playing keep ball. Though they should probably be making the most of the extra man. 😂

Not for me. He was well with in his right to continue his run. He's under no obligation to jump out of O'Donoghues way.

Mayo doing a Dublin on it

Despicable Carry on from dublin and what’s sinister is how the ref has turned a blind eye to much of it

Mayo need to keep trying to score

Lane doing his best to let Dublin score here.

Dublin there for the killing - agree Mayo should have pushed on when up the man

Mayo would be better off carrying on as they have been doing and not playing keep ball like that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,034 ✭✭✭Swaine

Not even from Mayo but I'll be absolutely overjoyed if they can hang on here. They deserve this. An incredible football county who come back year after year despite such heartache.

    Would you relax.

The amount of Helen Lovejoy's that come out of the woodwork when Dublin play is astounding.

Was yer man who monitors booing of opposition frees around today?

Is 3 points enough? Don't think so. But come on Mayo!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,267 ✭✭✭RoyalCelt

Let's hope they beat Mayo today.. Or an additional emergency fund might be set up. Still waiting for the leinster teams who've not had a sniff of a provincial title, let alone an all Ireland to get theirs.

Dublin won’t win. This is done.... A younger team outdone by a deal of skullduggery, a ref who is blatantly incompetent and has been for years but this is a zenith of refereeing errors and one sidedness seriously... the run had to end and you’d like to shake whatever opponents by the hand but how this is ending is toxic, on behalf of the referee and the opposition who have not been good... the last line ball being an example, ball dead, whistle long gone, Mayo player runs 10 meters to boot it away from Dublin to waste time..

    and diving.

Dublin's heads are completely and utterly gone. Even in the first half you could see it, mayo were just paying them too much respect.

There's just really been something off about Dublin today it has to be said. When they needed experience and cool heads there was absolutely nothing there in that regard

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,503 ✭✭✭✭Mad_maxx

Hope they can do it but Mayo could have taken more advantage of the extra man

    Dublin look tired and done

In fairness winning 6 was something else.

Counts for little if mayo can't win the big one

    More THUGGERY from dublin

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,034 ✭✭✭Swaine

Should be a red. He shouldn't even be on the pitch.

    Dublin look beaten

Small should be gone before never mind now

Wait which one hit the shoulder to the jaw earlier?

Some very high tackles by both teams

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,042 ✭✭✭✭Beechwoodspark

Some of the dublin “players” would be better off joining the UFC with mcgregor

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,444 ✭✭✭✭namloc1980

    Another bottled red card there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,839 ✭✭✭Dr. Bre

    A shocker from the Ref

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,833 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Terrible challenge by Small, borderline red card. Very lucky to escape with a yellow.

Should Conor Lane ever referee again?
