Soundbar Query

Hi there - I'm looking for a recommendation for a soundbar. We're more interested in sound clarity rather than the whole cinema experience. We're both approaching free travel pass age - and just noticed recently that the TV sounds slightly muffled. Might be the TV of course - but keen to explore something better than in-built TV sound.

Clearly this is not an expert opinion, but we installed a Sonos Beam on our 9-year-old TV last year and the difference is staggering. It doesn't offer surround sound or anything fancy like that, however, what you get is a really punchy, clear sound that works really well for TV and also for audio.

When the TV first turns on it uses the in-built speakers for about 5 seconds before switching to the Sonos so every time we turn it on we get to hear the difference. It's not cheap but it's very easy to set up, links with Alexa or Google (meaning you can very easily connect it to Spotify or the like) and it looks good under the TV too.

Sonos have the Beam which I use at home myself. It runs off an app that is downloaded onto your phone or tablet. Priced up at 449 Euro. Also 5 star reviewed.
