What would it cost approx to

Wash -power hose

Prime and seal

2 coats of paint

Painter to supply paint as well.

4 bedroom house 2 story, in the west of Ireland - not sure if costs vary around the country.

Yes prices do vary, just as standards of work vary, hire a painter who is recommended, don't focus on price.

How have you approached getting a qoute? Saying the West makes it sound remote. Many painters I know refuse to qoute a job blind as they have been stung doing so to many times. The majority who do take on blind qoutes add insurance in case he job is a stinger.

What is the purpose of the powerhose? dirt or green growth?

What do you mean by prime and seal?

2 coats of fast quick or slow heavy? Spray or brush/roller?

What brand paint?

Not in a remote location as such , small town.

power hose to clean peeling paint on part of the house.

don’t know what prime and seal mean, that’s what I was quoted for.

mainly roller.

decent brand of paint, not specified yet.

painter is good , has given me a price I’m just checking if it’s a fair one.
