There's no limit to the depths that these people will sink to. If Trumpism has helped with one thing, it's to highlight the level of scumbag that exists in US society, and it seems that a lot of them work at Fox News.

Apparently the vast majority of the American people, unless they have a (rabid-D) behind their names, are impressed or buying into Nancy Pelosi’s soviet-style kangaroo court that she developed for yet another public witch-hunt against Trump and his followers.

She’s only allowing members to serve on this ‘committee’ who buy into her pre-written narrative.

Do you think as part of this ‘investigation’ they’ll bring up the fact that Biden’s Department of Justice Department is still to this day holding some people without bail and in solitary confinement, that the DOJ only unofficially accuses of “insurrection,” but officially can only prove that they trespassed and interfered with official proceedings?

Or the fact that that the only use of a deadly weapons on 1/6 was by a police officer, who they refuse to name for some unknown reason, that shot and killed, armed with a semi automatic .40 caliber sure-kill Glock, a defenseless 110 pound woman who was a threat to no one, and whose only crime was the misdemeanor of trespass? I think most reasonable people would consider it 'cowardly first-degree murder in the service of a lie.'

Of course not. No show trial would?

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

    Show trial 😂

I'd be delighted to see him shipped off to a far away gulag.

If you believe that load of nonsense then I actually feel sorry for you. Go and watch some of the footage of the way that the insurrectionists behaved towards the Capitol police, and educate yourself on what actually happened. It was a flagrant attack on the democratic process and transition of power between administrations and the American people deserve to know what happened, even if the likes of you are too blinkered to even imagine that Trump could do something wrong. You have quite a remarkable world view, and as I said, I'm starting to feel sorry for you if you believe even half of what you write here.

It's also pretty obvious why they haven't released that guy's name. It would literally attract a load of people who want to kill him.

I haven’t watched any of it but have read some... about Never-Trump republican congressman Kinzinger faking tears and who is hoping CNN or MSLSD is watching so they can hire him on their panels as the token republican beause he will soon be out of Congress as Catalina Lauf is expected to beat him in the primary. The DC policeman who shouted “Disgraceful!” about the “indifference” shown to his fellow police officers who failed to do their duties. I think he has a future in the movies for that over-dramatic performance. And then there was the officer who said “If there had been a fire fight we surely would have lost.” But there was a fire fight and it involved a policeman shooting a small defenseless woman through the neck and killing her who was no threat to any one and was merely trespassing. And some officer who has mysteriously changed his story form that he stated some time ago about the protest. Don’t feel sorry for me, feel sorry for the American people. Afraid of job security perhaps because Pelosi in in charge of security and who is ultimately responsible for all the failures that day.

If an overwhelming amount of republicans are Gun owners and if they really intended to overthrow Democracy that day then why were they not armed with guns?

The only person shot was an unarmed woman by a police officer?

If we're not supposed to eat animals, then why are they made of food? 🤔

Because it was only a protest that got out of hand by a few overzealous people wanting their voices heard and with no intention of the 'overthrowing democracy' nonsense democratic talking point.

Each time you want to post something, do you eat a tin of alphabet spaghetti, sit on the loo and see what comes out?

Because that's about as much sense as your contributions make.

100% agree with you it got out of hand but to say it was an attempt to overthrow democracy is laughable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8 cryintoyouravacado

But I thought they were going to overthrow democracy what makes you think they would care about open carry laws if they wanted to take over the country.

Yeah, wanting to lynch the VP and seeking out pelosi for a similar treatment, cheered on by twittler who said they should because the election was stolen has nothing to do with Trump trying to hold onto power ie. Overthrow democracy (he lost you know)

Ah sur, they were only tourists on the way to the gift shop via smashed windows and doors.

They literally broke in to stop the certification of the election results, encouraged by Trump.

who among us can say that they never erected a gallows at a peaceful demonstration?

They were chanting "Hang Mike Pence". Never mind them attacking the police. These people need to be locked up.

Sounds similar to BLM antifa peaceful protests which burned and destroyed several federal buildings encouraged by the current administration who even bailed protesters out of jail.

    Two questions if I may:

    • How many is "a few" by your definition in this scenario?
    • What do you think may have incited people who travelled there with no intention to engage in rioting, to then join in the riot rather than just walk away and obey the law?

They wouldn't have gotten close to the capitol if they flaunted carry rules en masse. In general they don't care about open carry laws.

Several admitted that they were there to overturn the election results. I agree it was a terrible attempt at it destined for failure but incompetence is not an excuse. Many expected armed forces to follow them and their cause.

Interestingly it was weird watching sites like Donald. Win go from glorifying violence against Democrats. Hoping to drop anyone who didn't worship Trump out of a helicopter to suddenly saying they were all peaceful and sure it must have been antifa pretending to be them when it all went horribly wrong.

Many of them were armed as it happens. Just because you don't know something, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

This violent mob out to kill in the name of Trump is simply not true.

The only person killed during the riot was Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old Air Force veteran and Trump supporter who was shot by an as-yet unidentified Capitol Police officer as she attempted to climb through a broken window near the Speaker's Lobby. The officer was not charged.

Remember the Police officer sicknick we were all told was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher??

Sicknick, 42, died the day after responding to the riot, which broke out as lawmakers counted electoral votes to affirm President Joe Biden’s victory over Donald Trump. In the days that followed, news outlets reported the 13-year veteran was beaten with a fire extinguisher, but the medical examiner concluded Sicknick suffered two strokes and that his death was from “natural” causes.

Not the mainstream media blatantly lying again and leaving all journalistic integrity at the table due to their personal hatred for trump.

I guess the amount of people charged… about 500 people in more than 40 states. Remember, they utilized vast resources on the most sophisticated face recognition technology available to the police, FBI, NSA, and probably the CIA to track these 'hardened criminals' (most who will only be charged with trespass) across the entire country. While protestors who participated in violence, arson, and massive destruction of property, like antifa and BLM, walk around scot-free, by the way. Others were just walking around the “The People's House” when security and police let them by and even held the door open for them.

They went there to have their voices heard by their elected representatives who they believed turned a blind ear to their concerns.
