Changing colour of garden shed

I'm thinking of changing my oak-coloured shed to a lighter colour, maybe something like wild thyme in the Cuprinol Shades range, or a mid grey. Not sure though what kind of paint would be best, in terms of getting good coverage without too many coats, and also getting good protection for the timber. I'll be doing it myself so I'm not up for a lot of hardship. The shed is in good condition as I've been putting the brown fencelife + on it regularly. Any advice?

I used fencelife plus , took about three coats on a brand new shed that had originally bring treated/painted In a nearly orange colour

I opted for Ronseal Ducksback after, it took a powerwash and two good coats, but the result is lovely (Silver Copse) and no brown showing through.

Not my shed but my fence panels, so similar. I had FenceLife Red Cedar on them all.

I painted them all with this stuff. Took 2 coats on each panel and they came out perfect. No red showing through.

That's lovely...very like my colour. Grey is very "on trend" at the moment :)
