LOL you are moving the goalposts now. Admitting FPTP is entirely undemocratic while still trying to say it's an example of how popular Brexit is. If it was popular with the majority of the country by definition the Tories would have won the popular vote which they didn't.

First.past.the post is irrelevant in a referendum- it's a simple yes or no question

Johnson didn't win the popular vote - very few presidents/prime minister do.

The general political mood in the UK is moderate Conservative. This and a few dodgy lies was enough to get Brexit through as an one off - but that's the difference; Brexit only had to get through once. GB news has to do it consistently.

You can fool all.of the people some of the time, as they say, but....

Put it on this morning and Darren Mccaffery and cohost were discussing how Puffin's are under threat because of the EU fishing in British waters.After the news it was going to be Harry And Megan.

During the week I heard "EU hates us" and "EU are jealous of us"

I didnt know that Dan Whooton has a 3 hour time slot from 9pm-12 until it was posted here. I dont know how anyone could watch him for 10 minutes dont mind three hours. He has a real smarmy and creepy vibe about him. Plus he was the showbiz editor of the Sun during the phone hacking scandal, I bet he is not as clean cut as he likes to make out.

Alternative facts is it?

No journalism, no investigation, no special reportage, just a bunch of talking heads. A really poor standard bunch at that with the guests straight out of the echo chamber.

Above all, GB News must be a massive disappointment to those of a right wing persuasion in Britain. It could have been an influential voice, a challenge to the orthodox broadcast media, which tends to the centre left, but instead it's just a joke.

It’s a bunch of talking heads asking each other what they think of woke culture.

Even conservatives who despise woke culture are bored of it, judging by viewing figures.

Tbh, from the little I've watched, I'm not sure what they are offering. There doesn't seem to be any coherence to it at all. It's not news anway, more like a stream of commentary, which is fairly old and jaded already.
