I'm talking about great songs that flew under the radar.

I can guarantee if I asked most of the people I know who like music, do you know "One Headlight" by The Wallflowers, they would say no.

I'd guess most of those views are in the US, where it was a big hit.
Don't think it, or the band, are well known this side of the Atlantic.

Slightly more well known, but probably not that familiar to the general public - Mayor of Simpleton by XTC. As good a pop song as you’ll ever hear. Also Easter Theatre by XTC.

Saw MMJ do this in the Troxy in London as part of the campfire trails festival... about 6,000 people in absolute stunned reverential silence....
