I am not sure if there is a thread already on this. But a lot of my friends lost their job during this covid period. So,
What's your job and your annual salary?

    I will start first.

    Healthcare sector and €75K.

I wouldn't worry. It's probably just to inform you about your upcoming payrise

Work in data analytics. On 60k a year, which is not bad for Galway. Also an additional 5-6k annually for teaching classes in analytics part time.

base 60k in credit risk strategy, got 40k in RSU/PSU each year for the last couple years.
Pretty common for people in large MNC companies to get paid a lot of shares over base.

    I hate this thread

Teacher, Nurse, Guard in the first 5 years all fall well short of any salary mentioned here so far so don't wallow in despair too much. The demographic here will also skew towards:

    1. Younger
    2. City based
    3. STEM/Tech
    4. Propensity to Boast

That said, salary transparency is absolutely disgraceful in this country and its seen as something shameful to be seen talking about money or investing in anything other than property or Dairy Co-Ops. I would welcome more transparency and knowledge overall about wages, as well as COL increases for Teachers/Nurses in urban areas.

Source: Enterprise IT; earning shamefully more than my utility in the context of society.

Saying Healthcare sector generally like that is about as broad as it gets..... You could be in any role from nursing to neurosurgery!

I'll post back next year when I've made the required life and career changes that threads like this tend to provoke within me!

Anyone that gets depressed reading this thread just remember, it may as well ask how much do you want fellow boardsies, also with anonymous profiles, to think you earn. Half the replies here will be made up

But doesn't tripling your fees make less people want to have sex with you, not more? :D
