Yeah I'm disappointed it didn't dip lower and stay there a bit longer

Do you think it will stay low for the next few days or weeks

Everybody except a BTC maximalist or a nocoiner would expect it, the majority of the industry revolves around it. Doesn't mean it won't drop to $1k first though.

Fcuk it anyway I left a lot of paper gains on the table this time, ah well, still in profit, see you back here for the next round of ATHs, I intend having a much bigger stack when that happens.

todays drop is the perfect set up for the flippening. Yes eth will over take BTC. The whales have set it up and are adjusting their portfolios in advance of the switch to proof of stake.

Maybe. But I still expect BTC to be king for the next few months.

Eth will make far more gains in the next few years then bitcoin I feel also feel ada will do good.
All my money is going into Ada and Eth
I have no bitcoin only because there is more profit in eth and ada.

It's funny, I didn't cash out in the 2018 peak and spent the last 3 years feeling sick over what I thought was a life changing amount of money but now even with the current drop my portfolio is worth more than twice that peak and now I'm still feeling sick, it's just pure irrational fear and greed. I think the only thing to do is buy more :D

    Well this isn't good :D

Do you see this causing issues for the upcoming EIP?
It would be nice to see ETH stabilise at a realistic, sustainable price that is independent of other crypto prices.

It'll actually be interesting to see how BTC:ETH dominance goes after EIP1559, if it goes smoothly, if BTC stays at these levels or trends lower

As a side, I came across this podcast today which I thought was interesting to learn about Ethereum. It is from Colossus.

    Into the Ether.

Whats peoples thoughts on the price today, looks like lots still trying to sell but getting no traction with buyers pushing it up
Friday the day to look out for?

I'm in 2 minds if EIP1559 is already priced in notwithstanding the recent correction.... most my eth is through an etf

It’s going drop again to around 1500e soon I bet
Want to buy more but going to wait

    Let. It. Drop.

It has no reason beyond hype to be above 1k, same with BTC above 10k. Let it drop. It'll reach the levels you want it to be at later. Let it die a slow death for the time being, people spewing money in for auctions is a part of how it works but it's so much better when those aren't happening cos this thing that will be valuable for real reasons now and in the future isn't being shored up by 100% bullsh!t

ETH up nearly 40% since Sunday.

It really is box office stuff watching these pumps and dumps.

I think over the next few months it will drop to around 1300us as the bear comes

You were saying 4 days ago it was a normal move in a bull run. What has changed?

No my prediction is BTC may go to 50kUS but then drop to 20 and stay in low 20s for a few months then kick up again .
Dead cat bounce type, I hope it does cause I will buy lots if it goes cheap.
It could do opposite still feel long term it’s great to hold Eth no matter what price you pay now ,2 years time it will be at 10k at least .

If we continue following BTC cycles, 2 years is likely when we'll actually be in a bear market

When people make serious predictions about crypto I always laugh. Nobody has an idea.

If we did we'd be multi millionaires.

    Yes 40 possible by 2025-26 that’s what I said.
But right now we are entering a bear market I feel
But sure that’s just my view.
Only a guess but I really do feel Eth will get to 40k

Eth @ 40k would give it a market cap of $5tn. Seems unrealistic given that it doesn't reallly generate any income and has little utility outside the blockchain
