I like this. It's from 1996, so it's a good bridge between an older Ireland and the new one. The older generation, climbing the reek in their Sunday best, the nuns, ordinary people climbing it in everyday jumpers and runners. These days it's all hiking boots and the latest Gore-tex €100 trousers from Berghaus or The North Face. Sticks and mugs for a decent price too, they'd cost 5-10 times that today.

I like the brief interviews with the more zealous Christian elements in there too. It's a great day out, I've done it a couple of times and can highly recommend it.
