La Rochelle are a good team. Their pack, defence and breakdown work could win it for them yet.

I thought there was possibly enough of a dip from Médard to mitigate the red down to yellow.

There was no dip. Botia was always illegal

Can Larochelle keep up their work rate?
Can TL get their backs into the game?

    Every bit as bad no?

Can't blame the SR skipper for being bemused to say the least.

Fairly clear hit to the neck. Strange how certain they were without looking too hard at it

That looked pretty similar. Surprised there wasn't one or more looks at the angle from behind posts.

    🤪

    Super tackle.

this is awful fare for a final

Could we give Girl in the yellow top the person of the match trophy

Finals are like this more often that not.

As a neutral I'd much rather see it 12-12 with half hour left than 33-12.

Apparently the stadium was full at kick off. Lads started leaving after 20 minutes of this.

    Try saving tackle there IMO.

    Error after error..

Cant believe both teams are so poor at the basic skills

Healy trolling now on the BT commentary

Poor fare, but the scoreline is keeping it pretty interesting.

That was coming. I think the extra man will show now in the last 20 mins for Toulouse

Looks so easy when it's done right

LAR did well to hold out until now. I hope they can mount a comeback from here but honestly I think Toulouse will kick on.

How is that not a penalty for tackling in the air?

You see a pen for that in some games. Shame to see it result in injury too!

Because he got to the ball

The LA Rochelle player came down with the ball.

It was definitely a penalty. Toulouse are getting the rub of the green and the 50/50 calls so far.

    Very unfortunate for the lad.

Yes. But it was a fair competition for the ball.

"Draw and pass, give the ball to Kolbe. Easy". Austin Healey offers some good insight at times, but will always eventually remind you that he's a dose...

The contest doesn't matter. Every other ref for the last decade talks about a duty of care to the player in the air.

Yes. But you're allowed compete for the ball. And both players went in the air. Both players got a hand to it, the SR player won it, but it was a fair competition.

That’s the shortest penalty advantage I’ve seen in months, regardless of yards made

    Game over now.
