Things you just don't get...

Saturday Night Live on American telly. Is it that I don't get it or is it really that bad?

It seems really popular but I've watched loads of clips of it and I've never once cracked a smile. I've heard this cowbell sketch was meant to be the best one, but jeez... awful rubbish.

    Any others

    Night Clubs
Yoy are in the pub with a nice fuzzy buzz having had a great night.
Then someone suggests go to a night club.
Place is packed, guinness is €9 pint why?
Barman hates you, bouncer hates you, other clubbers hate you.
Lose your coat (coat person hates you), lose wallet, lose phone, lose friends.
Taxi home goes some stupid way to rip you off.
You get home and feel awful next day and are too riddeled to do anything and a perfectly good Saturday is wasted.
    I never saw the attraction.

    Frank and Honest coffee.

If anyone from Frank and honest is reading this, will you please take a bit of your large marketing budget and use it to buy coffee that doesn't taste like scuttery shart.

Dancing. It just feels wrong, even when I'm pissed.
TikTok. I can see the appeal with Instagram but TikTok is fecking weird.

    The continuing prohibition of cannabis.

Especially when there's reams of evidence that prohibition doesn't work.

Honestly, the Philippines will decriminalise before we do.

    Tattoos, scarification, rings under noses,
    through lips and eyebrows.

People who choose to still smoke cigarettes.

Cigarette butts, leftover bottles, plastic and paper cups strewn in city streets and parks. I was biking and stopped at a favorite spot of mine at the foot of rapids, and picked up four cups and cans a couple of days ago. I turned around and saw 9 rubbish bins from where I stood.

Why some men listen to radio shows they utterly despise just so they can complain about them on the internet. Same goes for the Late Late Show etc.

Like there is so many other things you could be watching, listening to, or doing. Is it a bonding thing or something? Some form of masochism?

    Has me confused.

Why my neighbour leaves his side gate to his back garden open when he is in the garden. It bangs every couple of minutes.....loudly.......it never occurs to him to close the gate, put a latch on the gate, put a rock against the door to stop it banging....

I was recently in the company of about 10 people and I was the freak because I was the only one without a tattoo or a piercing (and who didn't drink tea or coffee. :D ).

I would love to go to a nightclub! Cheesy music. Hopping around the place. Somewhat ill advised shots of weird coloured drinks. Oh, and did I mention the hopping around the place dancing?

Been ages, but it is a lot of fun.

Saying that, I’d probably last an hour.

How would the mods not catch that? They have ips.

on a vaccum cleaner there is this collar on the tube that you rotate to reduce the suction. it lets air in. Its not like you are saving electricity as full motor is still going. not sure why a vaccum would have this.

Say you're vacuuming and you hit a sock. Sock gets stuck to the head. You open that valve, the suction is reduced, and the sock falls off. Useful when vacuuming curtains too.

Most likely using proxies for their different accounts. The ips will probably show up as coming from mainland Europe.

Yes, you might as well throw in those damn "bulge-o-rama" comix, while you're at it.
