^^^:D:D I really don't get the attraction of the pod showers/steam room. You'd break your neck climbing in and out.
The kitchen door on the right of the photo is higher than the one on the left and has an extra step up to it. Who thought that asymmetry would look good?

These doors are very, very upsetting, distressing and disturbing all in one. I think Germans probably have one long word for this feeling I have.
That's one of the biggest messes of a layout I've seen. For a house that size and that much money spent it's a disaster. Some people do just have to make do with the space and budget they have so will be quirks and make do with odd layouts but there's no excuse with that budget.
The downstairs bedrooms are in a separate section behind that door they squeezed that high press. So to get to one of them from front door you have pass through the kitchen and to go through 5 door ways!
