 . From people who I know, a lot of school friends were friends through circumstance, but drift apart after 5/10 years. The only people I know who still have proper friends from school (as opposed to acquaintances) are those who followed more or less the same life path as their school friends, and stayed living in the same area. Of course that’s not true for everyone, just what I’ve observed.
