welcome on board! I LOVE the username! A good character was Shaka! I was over at a few games when he was playing. Certainly two when he was playing at Anfield anyway, possibly a third. Ya never knew what he was going to do next, could be absolutely unreal on his day!
A blast from the past him.

Oh and yeah nothing wrong with a nice nutritious pack of the auld monster munch :pac:

Just in the door myself so gonna make a pizza soon and then lob on Gangs of London. I'd murder a few beers right now too but too lazy to head back out again. The sparkling water in the fridge doesn't look too exciting mind.

Favourite chair, rather tired after a very busy day working away, Zooming two of my dissertation students and then running errands to get printer ink cartridges and some grocery shopping.

Going to give my uncle and aunt up North a call shortly. :) Roll on the weekend!

For the record - I was practically addicted to the old orange Monster Munch in my childhood! :D:pac:

I've done it a few times. It's a tough walk but even when raining the sunrise helps.

I was just outside there and it's quite windy and drizzly.
I'm feeling sorry for myself having to be somewhere outdoors by 10am but you win Auto :)

Ah It’s only rain and it’s for such a great cause :) Can’t let the typical Irish weather stop me ;)

One year i everyone got a real real soaking on the walk, people could only laugh at their transformation into drowned rats, the ink from the paper cups was melting off on our hands.

It's really grown in popularity the Darkness in to Light event.

I'm in the bed. Have a workshop/conference thing this weekend. There will be "experiential" work. Lords save me but why do I put myself through this. And it will be on Zoom.

Work related Zoom needs to crawl up its own arse and die.

A slow, painful death from the comorbidities of cringing and boredom. I'd rather go down the mines.

If anyone would like to express their opinion on my idea for a new forum for Singles Over 40, there is a link (apparently!) in my signature.
As I've said often enough, I'm very bad with technology but I've been told the link is there but you need to be on full site to see it.
If you so wish, you can vote in favour or against my idea.
After the success of the Childfree By Choice forum, I thought a platform for "older" single people to talk, debate, share advice etc might be nice because to me, there seems to be a significant proportion of us in this category.
Thanks to the AH mod, who let me post this on this thread btw.

PM, I went to full site mode after Grem's post and gave you a +1.

So now we're going to Perse's wedding as a couple. And as gatecrashers, but needs must.

That's my whole point. Even chatting about +1 invites to a wedding would be nice.
I got an invitation to a wedding years ago with a +1 but was happy to attend on my own because I'd be in a big group of friends going too.
I went to write the acceptance card but was stumped at how to word it so I had to ask a single friend who had been to several weddings who told me to write "Purple without guest would be delighted bla bla bla".
I was thinking about putting "Purple on her own". Lol.

Chilled in the late evening default position... horizontal on the sofa. :D

Hopping into the shower, will watch a recording on the box and tune into DJ Funkybeak on Twitch for some late night grooves.

Having a sup of tae. Had to get up to sort out an issue with Grumpy. Tranquility has now been restored. Hope I can get back to sleep.

Not as many so keen to get the family sunrise photo for the FB page this morning, where I walk it was a poor turnout.

There for the sunny days but can't be found in the dark and stormy days, that pretty much sums it up.

Chucking down here as well but that’s what raincoats/gear are for ;) Hot chocolate has worked its magic and I’m now all warm and dry :)
