I'm a fan of all the world and street food online content, and would love to know what are other posters' favourites.

I'm going to start off with Mark Wiens in Baalbek, Lebanon, where there is some great kofte kebab, but also an eye-opening insight to community life in parts of the world, that we just have no experience of here. I find it amazing how something like food can open up a window to such cultural value in different parts of the world.

I remember watching a National Geographic series, a few years ago, when they explored local foods in tribal areas.
I distinctly remember a family in Greenland, with the kids eating seal, I think.

I could not find it again.

The whole Russian/Soviet vibe, from the food, to the architecture and decor, is such a unique mix of simple/luxurious, tacky/stylish.
A region of contradictions!
I love it.

Mole sauce, from Mexico.

I have a carton of the pre-made stuff, which I haven't used yet.
I had thought it was a simple savoury chocolate sauce, but the complexity and time involved in here is amazing.

I might skip the grasshoppers though

I have never seen mac and cheese sold here though.

The concept behind the Rate My Takeaway channel has such potential.

But the guy presenting it, I'm sorry, has less style and appeal than a rotten turnip.
He just turns me off all the food, and that speeded up video editing is awful.
Opening up all the kebabs and burgers is revolting.

I'll stick to Mark Weins.

Such a shame, because it could have had the makings of a good food video series.

This channel is just lovely.

No narration (except for the animals), fresh cooking in the outdoors, so relaxing to watch.
Very meditative. I love the slow pace, the sights and sounds.

Beautiful.

Flavourful Origins on Netflix is a great deep dive into Chinese food. It's all about regional produce and specialties. It makes you realise that what we think of as Chinese food is merely a tiny part of the culture.

Voice over is kinda annoying, though, and it has a real Chinese Tourist Board vibe. But, fascinating, none the less.

Probably more of a travel vlog than a food one, but there is food involved too!

I love watching this French guy's travels around the world on his bike. He has explored areas, some of which I would never dream of visiting, but some others that I would love to. Hope you enjoy watching Yves as much as I do!
