    but if the % discount is in the form of a discount voucher code, only one code can be used at Checkout so it is either €10 voucher or % discount but not both?

    The voucher is a gift card and can be used with a discount code

    i think when i tried to use it last time, it would only work in the Discount Code box and not the Gift Card one? Though I could be wrong ....

    No it's the opposite. Won't work in the discount code box, only the gift card one.

    As mentioned by another poster, Easons regularly have discount codes up to 33% off on back holiday weekends and the like so will wait a while before using it.

    And to confirm what others have said, the total after the discount code has been applied has to be €10 or more. But it needs to be €10 or more to use the €10 voucher anyway so that's a non-issue.

    My order is in store awaiting collection, which is nice. But I'm fairly sure the feckers subscribed me to their mailing list, though I'm generally fairly careful about not opting in.

    The % discount codes take account of any % discount that has already been applied to a particular book.

    So if a book is discounted by 10% before you apply the code, when you apply the code it increases the existing discount from 10% to 15% rather than applying an additional 15% discount.

    If a book is already discounted by more than the % of the discount code, applying the discount code has no effect.
