wifi extender not connecting but visible

    Hi All,

    Recently purchased a wireless extender as the signal dropped in the attic room. Its a tp-link AV600 model. It is showing on all devices as a wifi network but when I choose it from either a phone, x-box etc they dont connect. On the devices the wifi signal is strong but they just dont connect.
    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated but bear in mind in less tech savy than most on here.
