used take corners from the RHS i think before bruno. i always prefer outswinging corners cos they seem to cause more confusion, and the attacker can catch it better.

I'd agree with Carragher, inswingers are what I'd want to be attacking. Much harder to defend as well.

I remember looking into it years ago and I think inswingers were well ahead statistically.

Wouldn't Harry look lovely up top in red

He's off with an ankle injury.
I wonder how much we'd actually see of him on red

Both will fall short of top 4 IMO. Better chance of West Ham or Chelsea ousting them from Top 4. Just glad we appear to be in a good position.

Happy Kane got two in my FF. Though Son was captain.

    Roll on the weekend.

this is from about 2 weeks ago. cant remeber if it was discussed.

"I love Spurs - I'll always love Spurs. But it's one of those things - I've always said if I don't feel we're progressing as a team or going in the right direction, then I'm not someone to just stay there for the sake of it.

"I'm an ambitious player. I want to improve, I want to get better, I want to become one of the top, top players.

"It all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team. So it's not a definite I'm going to stay there forever, but it's not a no either."

i suppose for any team to afford him, he will need to massively agitate for a move and essentially go on strike.

    Can’t stand Tottenham though!

    DeGea
    AWB, Jones, Maguire, Williams
    Fred, Matic
    Pereira, Mata, James
    Martial

The team that lost 2-0 at home to Burnley, Jan 2020...
Safe to say that there has been some progress in the meantime.

There goes West Hams top 4 climb. Red card and conceeding an own goal in quick succession. Big opportunity now for Pool and Chelsea

Not watching the game but always thought that Saint-Maximin is bound for greater things. He's impressed me more than Sarr has since arriving in English football. If it wasn't for his struggles with Covid he'd be attracting a lot more attention.

Seems like a genuinely nice guy too, in the same vein as Mata.

Another goal for Jesse as well. Might be only a peno but they all count. They make up a fair proportion of brunos goals.

Ideal scenario is they just miss out on Europe with lingard keeps scoring. Then we get Rice for 30 m + lingard ??? If they get Europe, Rice stays or is priced out of a move

I'd happily see City win here and lose next league match instead :D

City beginning to stutter hopefully, were certainly toothless today.

2 losses in 3 and 4 without a clean sheet, at least they're no longer looking imperious.

The games are starting to take their tole. I wouldnt be surprised if they suddenly have a covid outbreak for a rest.

We are on a nice run of good results, another win today to close the gap,
Burnley though are an awkward team and they have a habit of getting good results against us.

While there is probably no more than a 50/50 chance of this being an exciting and entertaining game, I have to say I do look forward to United games these days. I'm certainly riding that wave of positivity right now.

Yes me too. I'm enjoying the team relationship as well. They genuinely seem to be working together well and enjoying it. There was a good bit of banter after the midweek game on Twitter. That's one area Olé has spot on.

Would like to see Mata and/or Donny get some decent minutes today.....we are only a Fernandes injury away from having to depend on them in some big games.
Would be as well to rest Rashford as he is clearly playing through the pain barrier for last few months.

A good win today hopefully to put a little bit of pressure on City. Realistically the league is over bar the shouting but with KDB possibly out for the remainder of the season, no harm to have them looking over their shoulder a bit.

It would be nice to get 2nd and finish only a few points off the top to use as motivation for next season. As opposed to finishing 11+ points back.

I agree on the caution side of things publicly but would be madness if Ole isn’t hammering it home to the boys pre match today that anything is possible and go out and put Burnley away and just keep on winning and see.
