I reckon if your in a bar and they charge more than 4yoyo's for a Guiness.
look around in surprise and say so where are the lapdancers? No dancers!
what about live music? No music well why the fcuk are you charging that for a pint?

Also if you do get a pint and say sorry thats too much don't want it. Are you obliged to pay for it after its been poured?

"I went out to a hazel wood, because a fire was in my head".

I have a suggestion though, next time you don't want to pay four notes for a Guinness (a) ask the price (b) refuse to divie up.

In a small pub, the guy might give you some money off the pint, in a club, you're libel to come into contact with the friendly neighbhourhood heavy... and yes, some of the bouncers are ex-provos, so I wouldn't get heavy with them.

If you weren't aware of the price before it was poured, ie. there was no price list visible and barman didn't tell you the price then you are not obliged to pay for it.

What pisses me off though is, I refused to pay for a pint once because it was rediculously priced and not only was the barman pissed off with me but some of the punters around the bar were laughing at me and I could hear some snide remarks. What hope in hell have we of chaging peoples attitude towards pricing if this is the attitiude we have to change. It's sickening. For every 5 people that want change there are 55 that couldn't be arsed.

i remember the days when you could get a pint of the black stuff for 2.10 down the local them where the days

the price of drink is gone mad most bottles of drink are over 4.50 yoyos
but the thing is most people pay for it so the pubs/clubs charge for it

and as far as i know all pubs/clubs have to by law have a price list up somewhere where it can be seen most places have them near or on the main door or on the notice board in the hall
