This guy is really positive, comes out with real ambitious plans.

I thought he was very good and he was unlucky to get it so young.

I don't know age of everyone here but teenagers today have no real concept or idea about Aids.

Like they have a vague idea but it's not something they really think about because you just take medication for it in their eyes.

It's a sin was a very powerful series recently and sometime all young people should watch today.

Seriously?! I’d remove my children if he came to their school. He’s not giving factual advise. He’s a social media influencer as a result of his sexual stupidity.

I bet you even learned a lot but don't let go of those rosary beads ;)

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

Love Dave McGowan. I remember him when Anton Savage was on Todayfm he used to give regular updates on the plane being moved to Eniscrone.

    Love the old glamping. :)

    He's giving some mixed messages.

First he's saying "oh I was naive I had unprotected sex and got HIV"

Then he's saying "oh there's medication so I still have unprotected sex"

Not sure exactly what he's trying to convey.

My impression is that he probably did explain the whole U = U thing more but it might have been edited out.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

No! That gives impression that once your positive you can’t transmit it which is dangerous message. He can’t transmit because of the medication he is on for the rest of his life!

He never said that. You are misquoting here.

I’m not religious. I just think the message might be lost that daily lifetime medication is necessary to protect your partner from what is a deadly virus...not that it’s ok to have unprotected sex with someone hiv positive.

His documentary used to be on the RTÉ Player, don’t know if it’s still there. But it’s a great watch.

    Great story 5 years ago

He ran out of money and looked for external funding

Realistically he’s opened a bizzare scrapyard in Enniscrone thats filled with rusting obscure vehicles

    It’s an eyesore now

Reminds me of the late actor Denis Miller.

I don't understand a word he is saying.

He reminds me of your man from Father Ted who presented the Eurovision song contest and Ted couldn't understand a word he said when he came off the stage.

A HIV positive person in a first-world country in the 21st Century is no more likely to prematurely require the services of a funeral director than anyone else. You mentioned removing your children if he came to their school. For their sake, I hope they haven't inherited your ignorance and prejudice. Try educating yourself.

Can you visit ?? Or see the place from the road ??

If you saw the line up for the Late Late and saw a guy who is HIV positive, embalmer and funeral director on the same night you would run a mile.

This is very interesting and not even a hint of misery.

It's behind some hoardings but there's a great view from the pitch and putt course. Good fun trying to hit a jumbo with a few golf balls.

5th or 6th years I think they said, which is fair enough. It's not primary school.

Anyone else isn’t dependent on daily lifetime medication.
Yes I’d be concerned if the message young children received was that it is ok to have unprotected sex irrespective of the persons sexual orientation.
