FFS, it's Covid, not mustard gas, they won't infect Santry from air dispersal.

My friend went there.Git mugged at the first A T M.Ruined his holiday.
I went for a wedding (it was in vineyard outside of cape town) but spent week in capetown before.
Some lovely parts and great food but I didn't feel really safe in quite a lot of places tbh

I’m sure the management of the Crown Plaza will be delighted the way their hotel is being bad-mouthed on national radio!

The cash registers are ringing so loudly with government money that they don't care!

FWIW, I'd absolutely love two weeks in a hotel after working right through the year in a workshop. Maybe not for two grand though.

I mentioned last summer about my friend who went to Hong Kong and was tagged (bracelet that could only be cut off with a scannable barcode) on arrival, scanned everyday by police, tested every day, and confined to her room for 2 weeks. And ZERO tolerance for complaining.

The aggressive begging is the worst feature of it. I found it very intimidating. I wouldn’t go there again.

Joe engaging in reducing the argument to nonsense by asking how do we know the chefs don't have Covid. Give it a rest Joe.

Unlikely they would fix you up a coddle either if you asked for one.

Loved the area, and the vineyards & coast fantastic. Stayed in some nice quirky olde worlde hotels with open fires. Was lucky not to have encountered any dodgy situation at all, all the folK I met were lovely and kindly.

I suspected as much. Probably off on a wine tasting course in a South African vineyard.
