She has more chance of dying from a Palestinian rocket attack in the Irish Holiday Inn than she has of dying from COVID.

She’s coming from a country on the “list” so she should be

Is it "unfunny friday" as Joe seems intent on giving us examples of his feeble humour?

Israel isn’t an island so it’s very dangerous so to speak regard Covid.

The Holiday Inn Express is literally steps away from the Crowne Plaza... what's the beef?

Joe, I paid for a four star quarantine but I only got a three star one. No swimming pool, no gym neither and the residents bar shuts at 1AM.

Mossad agent forgot her work cover story momentarily.

Hold on a minute? In this case then you want to put all entrants into Ireland into MHQ for the next what? 2,3 4, 5 years!!?

    You cannot be serious?

No, but it was pretty clear that according to the current rule she would have to quarantine. I'm sure when we can get proof of vaccination, along with testing, those people will be allowed in. I would suspect that proof of vaccination fro most countries cannot be verified yet.

That she is fully vaccinated and had a negative pcr, it is a joke that she needs to quarantine. She is right to complain.

Our health authorities don't as yet fully trust the vaccines, that's been the story so far. That will probably change when hopefully they prove largely effective.

I wonder if these people will gain a little perspective in a few years, look back and think 'remember that time I whinged to Joe Duffy about having to spend two weeks of my long life in a hotel without a full tube of Aquafresh due to a virus that killed millions and affected 1/4 of a billion people...'

I cannot think of anything worse (or wurzer as Joe would say), than 2 weeks in that kip.

The quarantine is a complete joke, the most popular countries for inbound travel are left open because lots of Irish live there, the mind boggles how stupid that is.

You need to order alchohol, it doesn't just appear automatically in the room, caller.
