    There are a few full-time garda observation posts outside the homes of gangland types. There's one off North Cumberland Street, another near the canal as you approach Drumcondra. Both Hutch-related I think.

    That's a huge expense of resources. It really doesnt seem overboard to allocate funding for some security features for an innocent target.
