    Will I have to reformatt before doing this ?
    I presume that Partition magic will do this ?

    So when I install Linux it will write onto the windows partition.

    Cant ya not just run the dos command to convert?

    It will only convert from FAT32 > NTFS, it won't work the other way. Going back to FAT32 is not nearly as easy and problem free, so be sure to backup anything important. I would just reformatt and reinstall.

    Thanks MrPink I probably won't bother for a while, I didn't wanna do it and lose everything as is the norm.
