That Bundesliga outside of the box objective is ridiculous.

Players generally aren't going to help each other either because even if you gift someone the win in exchange, they could still quit and get 3-4 more games done in the time it would take for the full 90 minute game so most times they'll quit before you can get the outside of the box goal, even if winning.

This is what we get for having the audacity to actually help each other out to get the objectives completed quickly with the previous batches of Icon Swaps I suppose.

You can just imagine the team in EA Towers trying to think of a way to make it as much of a struggle as possible by way of a punishment. :rolleyes:

I scored a goal in the 89th minute to take a 1-0 lead in MM.
The game pauses and a message pops up that he needs one goal outside the box.

I've better things to do with my evening than pander to some randomer and waste more of my time waiting around.
If he wanted the goal that badly maybe he shouldn't have played for 89mins.

He sent me a further message saying people like me were what was wrong with the community...haha... because I played the game to win and nicked it late.

Played a few Rival matches last night, second game in the guy was quite obviously self relegating as from the kick off he ran towards his own goal and trying to score an own goal - I mean how difficult would that be? Not very difficult I hear you all shout!

Well he preceded to move his keeper out of the way to give himself an open goal but hit the post instead, his goalie then collected the ball and smashed the ball against the bar from about 5 yards out, at the third attempt he managed to achieve his own goal and instantly quit, lol

He’s decent enough for me (gold 2 or 3) wl player, I imagine anyone that’s a bit more competitive, going for elite etc, sol would get found out a bit more.

He’s like a tank and bullies people off the ball but not the quickest.

For those of you who are still here from fifa 20, you’ll remember a few of these essays, and for the most part they worked well.

I’m not trading trading in fifa 21 but at same time when I see a potentially easy opportunity I’ll take it.

If you don’t want to keep reading, the tip is, buy Brazilian bundes players at 1300/1400 or under

The reason is, we got the samba stars yesterday which requires 6 Brazilian starters in managerial masterpiece.

If we get the second bundes league player today, or any day this week people will double up on these objectives.

We seen the Irish prem players going for 5k when people were doubling that up with giroud moments.

There’s only 7 special or gold bundes players from Brazil, Reiner, costa, cunha, Joao victor, Wendell, William & iago.

There’s a further 5 silvers (aside from Reiner)

So people will look to buy bundes Brazilian’s to kill 2 birds with one stone and I could see them reaching 4 or 5k if it lands.

If it doesn’t, you lose 200 or so a card.

At the very least, I’d make sure you have 6 different Brazilian bundes for yourself anyway if you plan on doing this

So again, the tip is to just get Brazilian bundes players at 1300/1400 or less, it’s mainly the 2 gold left backs you’ll get. Cunha is already at 4K and the rb is about 1600 but get at least 1 of him for yourself

Edit: obviously you have the huntelar fut birthday there already but that’s not overly specific to bundes other than needing a goal.
But if the bundes player landed people would try do all 3 at once

Rumour is Mangala will be tonight's SBC.

Played against Vidal in almost every team last night, he seems decent but I certainly didn't have any trouble with facing him as a CDM.

Sambia in CDM also seems to be the latest trend, faced him a bunch of times last night too and he is a nightmare to come up against. He just tackles through everyone and is all over you before you have even received a pass.

I've watched another few - prime Inzaghi, prime Essien, prime van Nistelrooy.

Obvious such a miniscule sample size that it's fairly pointless, but it doesn't look too promising.

I'm really torn between:

1) Prime or Moments + 81 x 25

2) Mid/Prime + 82 x 25 & 83 x 25

I keep flip-flopping.

If I was to go with option 1 and packed an icon who doesn't make my team I'm kinda left with very little, whereas if I go option 2 the worst case scenario even if the icon is useless I should get a good chunk of any SBC completed that I actually want with the fodder.

Am in a similar boat. Torn between a prime pack, or a mid/prime and 82x25 pack.

Leaning towards the latter on the belief I’d probably get more long term joy out of fodder, and will likely pack an awful icon anyway....

One thing I love about icon swaps is getting an excuse to try new players.

Using my Red Thomas muller to do the long shots objective and he’s made it so easy. Ultra fun as a CAM, firing off rockets.

I’ll only get 16 tokens anyway, so might as well go for the best available to me. Could do with an icon for links too, doesn’t really matter which one.

I got base Campbell too in the last base icon swaps pack I did, and he’s a mainstay in my squad so might as well for for another one.

Playing Rivals tonight for icon swaps. Don’t usually play much of the mode.

Is it usually so possession based? Felt every game was against people just hoarding possession, like they were aiming for 0-0 games. Not even dropping deep. Just hanging in midfield, doing some skills and playing keep away, but never trying to even shoot, let alone score.

Is mindnumbingly boring, lol

Apparently the leaked FUT Birthday SBC for FUT 17 is going to be Renato Sanches. Will be a nice one for those with fodder burning a whole in their clubs!

FUT 18 leak is apparently an 85 paced Eric Bailly who I will have my eye on as I'm desperate for a new CB.
