I literally was about to post the Cornflakes one myself.

The little girl was played by twins. One was married in 2013 in Canada.

Corn flakes for me, it’s my favourite Christmas ad

And it's 4-1 to Kelloggs, rounding off the week nicely. :)

    Vodafone.

Tough one however that one pulls my heart string as I still remember the only Christmas I was away from home in Oz.

    Edit: Didn't count correctly!!

Let's start tomorrow morning- the last 32 can take place over 'holy week', with a break for Chocolatemas Easter. :)

Let's ease into the day with a pairing that shouldn't cause much angst.

As was predicted by Posy this one was never gonna be tight, but just in case we get a tight match up later today best to be clear about the finishing line.

this is a tough one.... need to watch both again.

Really torn on this one, but will go with John Lewis (51/49)

    John Lewis.

Reminds me of the first Christmas I had a job and was able to buys presents for my parents and siblings with my own money. Made me feel so proud and I got the whole giving is better then receiving thing.

A very conflicted vote for John Lewis.

Not mad on either but John Lewis

Thought that may have been a tad tighter, definitely moreso than 5-0 & surprised so many didnt take to either advert, both have a likeability IMO that is missing from many of the more recent (& instantly forgettable) christmas adverts.

    Anyway, we move on.

Dennys! gutted the perfect surprise one is gone, love that ad. not even a close call!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 11,660 ✭✭✭✭DvB

Another tough one for me here, neither are amazing but both have bits I like... I'll go with Denny as it reminds me of my daughter when she was that young and her reactions on christmas morning to seeing what santa had left her & her brother.
