I heard a doctor on UK radio around last summer time, asked if you died in a car crash but had tested positive in the last 30 days, would you be classed as a Covid death.

    He said yes.

That says a lot about the "Covid Death figures" for me.

I think that might have also been asked in the Health Oireachtas Committee and the answer was the same.

Stefanie Preissner on again, defending the Government today.
She must be looking to get on the FF or FG ticket when you start defending this shambles of a government.

She has been doing this consistently now for several months. I think you're possibly right about her wanting to get into party politics.

Why is there no discussion on the recent wedding in Galway or funeral in carrick?

Sam McConkey is one of the experts I always find quite negative, especially recalling when he once suggested we would be in lockdown for 10 years. But I do agree with him on getting the government to eat up their game on contact tracing, investigating exactly how & where it's spreading, and seriously assisting businesses in a very practical way to make their operations viable in Covid.

So all the would be male rapists should not walk behind women, not stare at them etc. - righty.

We as men should sit around and discuss that we shouldn’t rape women

    "Don't walk behind a woman".

I am trying to figure out how to walk then. If I go out for my daily walk and there is a woman in front of me, do I give up and go home?

They are creating a culture of fear, and people are worrying about something that is VERY unlikely to happen to you as an individual. Because some woman was murdered in England, they are now trying to tell all women that they are going to be the victim of a crime.

And in breaking news, drive carefully next time you're out, as you might be in a crash and die.

Okay second hour, turn off your brain. Somebody cooking something, somebody talking about a movie or song, somebody talking about the royals. that's my guess.

Philip Boucher Hayes was spouting sh!te on twitter the other day about this.

Crossing the road to make women feel safe when you are out for a walk.

    It’s absolutely laughable stuff.

I honestly believe these guys are so afraid of saying the wrong thing and being cancelled, that they go along with it and play along. I think if you spoke to many of them off the record they would have different views.

But if you have a cushy job at RTe, are you going to rock the boat and potentially lose your big pay day?
BOC is on a quarter of a mill every year for this.

Will I wear a pair of heavy brogues, or maybe hush puppies out walking?

Brendan and D'Arcy will probably start taking the knee when the meet women on the street from now on.

This s*it is just getting worse by the day, something to be outraged about now on a daily basis, but I think a lot of it is discussed as a smokescreen to take away the focus of the main stories of the day.

We will be fitted with a device around our necks which will emit a beeping sound similar to a truck reversing...... "MALE APPROACHING... BEEP.... MALE APPROACHING... BEEP.... WARNING MALE APPROACHING.. BEEP"

Is she from Munich or Mallow - take your pick online such is the standard of journalism. Perhaps she's reinventing herself like Violet Wynne - Leo's favourite SF TD.

"Knight in shining armour", "my car broke and he came to my aid".

So it was great a male stranger came to help her, despite us being told to stay away from vulnerable women in public, and not to even walk behind them.

There is a simple solution to that, if a woman is uncomfortable with a man following behind her,

Why doesn't the woman cross to the other side of the road.

    See problem solved.

Who is this - not even worth having on in the background?

That's ok if it is a road with a footpath opposite side. To access my estate from the LUAS necessitates walking along a very narrow path which is sandwiched between the LUAS track itself and a very high fence on the other side. Path not visible from any road or house for a good section of the way. Always somewhat uncomfortable on it at night, why I tend to get taxis at later times.
