You'd wonder what happens when this one gets stronger than de mudder.

    Awful situation for her.

Or what happens when she's 16 and the state says they now officially can't do anything.

No offence to our Dubliner friends, but the unadulterated wuuurkin class accent is right up there with the Birmingham whine in terms of irritation-real nails on the blackboard stuff.

No offence, I'm from Dooobalin, but don't have wan of doze, caller.

I'm strange-the Healy Rae's irritate the bejaysus out of me, but I'd listen to the Kerry lilt from them all day long.

Joe: What has she been diagnosed with?

Now that I have escaped Dublin city I quickly forget what a horrific accent de inner city accent is like. This show often sounds like a nerve wracking walk down Talbot street.

or when you get off the plane after your overseas holiday and are heading on the bus back to the car park and you hear it....

    t's, g's, th's become d's.

I remember Gay giving out to D'Arcy one time about his diction-pet hate of his.

Going by that, Joe must have been interviewed and appointed on to the Gay Byrne Hour in writing.

Yes, but then adding the 't' back in random places, e.g.

    Kilted
    Wortled

From what I'm reading here, it's just more misery. As if we are not fed up enough with Level 5.

I cannot understand why JD insists on throwing such misery our way, but maybe he gets off on it or something, because it is hugely boring to me and a lot of the issues are exploitative imv.

No one needs this level of misery, it is irrelevant to most of us, so I don't bother listening anymore.

I once had to do a bit of work in a HSE facility that caters for "troubled" teenagers. I'd think there were 4 or 5 staff on duty to "mind" her during the day and another 3 at night. The building that housed the child was waaaaaaaaay bigger than mine.
