Not being able to acesss the play store etc I hate it. I absolutely love the fast charging that's about it.

I have gone back to my Samsung j6 but looking for something better.

Does the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 phones etc have playstore etc?

Sorry for noob questions but I wasn't told in the three store that the huawei 2021 doesn't support playstore etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Also see the galaxy A12 can anyone recommend that? Really just interested in a good battery fast charging and at least 3 or 4gb ram

I got the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. Fantastic phone with large battery and fast charger. All Xiaomi phones have the playstore. They come with MIUI an android version which I quite like. There is a thread for this phone with buy tips etc.

Hi thanks for the reply. What exactly is MIUI? just looking for something that charged as fast as my p smart 2021 the 22.5w fast charging is amazing but cannot use the phone for my needs.

I'll read up some tips etc on this forum I should have done that before I went into store and was half pushed to buy the huawei :/

Yes the Redmi Note 9 has play store. Using it for a few weeks. Great phone. Decent battery life - 2 days average use. Has fast charging if you have a fast charging plug.
Miui is the skin Xiaomi place on their version. It's a bit like Huawei having their take on Android on their phones.

Thanks gbx, yeah I'm liking the redmi note 9, I have the huawei supercharge plug output is 2.25a with 22.5w max if that makes any sense. Is the camera etc and processing speed good etc on it was just comparing it to other phones around that price range seems very good.

Camera is very good. I came from a Nokia 7 plus that had a super camera. Its an adequate replacement.

That's the standard version - non pro. This is what I have.

The one I linked above is the pro 6gb version. Both will be global and have the Play Store on it.

The pro has slightly bigger screen, camera specs, Snapdragon processor & Fast charging 30W (non pro has 18W charging)

Is there much difference in your one and the pro? Except price and bit better hardware and battery etc. In other words is it worth the extra money?

Its a bit - IMO its not huge. I got mine from Vodafone with the porting offer. Ended up only costing me €99. So that swayed me. I havent found any faults at all. The only thing is if you are into flashing different roms, the Pro version might be better with the Snapdragon processor.

All depends do you want to spend an extra few quid. Bearing in mind on the Honorbuy link for the non pro note 9, its showing out of stock.

You can pick up a Huawei P30 pro for cheap enough now, a great device and has the playstore

I'd go for a realme, fab phone and made by same company as OnePlus.

Yeah decision made I'll purchase when in stock
Was looking at oneplus phones ages back but hadn't a clue, so many different ones to choose from , liking the looks of xaomi though. That mi10t looks sweet but looking to keep it under €250

Used Honorbuy before and it was very fast - just a couple of days. Never had reason to make use of the warranty xD.
MIUI is Xiaomi's Android user interface - it did not use to have an app drawer (apps separate not all on home screen) but since v 11 it does, you may have to enable it in settings though.

Can the Huawei P smart be flashed with another, less restrictive Android version?

I used to flash ROMs years ago. Dunno if it's still a thing. :D
