    Hi all.

Im thinking of starting up a "Last man Standing" with Premier league clubs at work.

    Has anyone ran one recently?

How did you arrange/rule on all the games on different nights each week ?

    Is that a problem ?

Circulate the fixtures each week so everyone knows what games/gameweek they are picking from. When we did it, we skipped midweek fixtures and stuck to weekends so 1, it lasts longer for people and 2, it doesn't confuse the people who dont generally follow sport and they can have fun too.

    Your decision is final.

It's probably not a great time of year to be starting because of all those extra midweek games, and even the normal weekend program sometimes stretching to Tuesday. And going to get worse with 2 more FA Cup weekends on the horizon where only some teams will be playing a league game.

If I were you I'd start it in August - the start of the season tends to be more structured with either 10 games or zero games (international break) every week.

    thanks guys.

Yes, i decided its way too messy.
Too many fixtures each and every night, then fa/europa etc also.

So im running a goal buster competition instead with a difference?

You are given 3 random teams.
    1 From Prem League + 1 from Serie A + 1 from La Liga.

The goal is to reach 40 goals - adding up the goals scored by your 3 teams each week.
