I jest Ari. But that tune did do very well in the worst song ever contest ;)

We've had Where's My Jumper in here too and I'd place that fairly high in the worst song ever contest too ;)

Maniac 2000 is a tune though :pac:

I'd have the two of them in a worst song contest, with Maniac 2000 possibly the overall winner. It's truly offensive to my ears.

I think I just have fond memories of nights out with Maniac 2000 - it is obviously a shocking song.

I'd have Where's My Jumper, All About That Bass and Fatman Scoop - Be Faithful top 3

Yeah, I realise the winners of the Weekly Walrus so far have been megahits that everyone has heard a million times before, but I've still been playing it like a fully fledged Walrus where the aim is generally to go for something lesser known and people discover something new.

Maybe I should follow suit of the majority and just go for largely well known songs, but old habits are hard to break... :pac:

I suppose you're right. After all, posting that song is officially classed as an act of war under the Geneva Convention. :pac:

Better late than never.. intro short documentary innercity pub olde timer storyteller/singer Luke Cheevers on music and singing... song by Leila Jane/The Healers starts 1.35ish.. Got to see this young up and coming artist play the Christie Hennesy song festival a couple of years ago like the modern feel of the song with echos of an older style.. wonder what they are up to over the last year like so many other artists..have to go a searching now :)

Myles making really interesting short docs and music films aswell..check them out too.

This week - a song which has been featured as a TV show theme song.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,942 ✭✭✭cee_jay

I will start with Teardrop by Massive Attack - used as the theme song for House M.D.

    Well done cee_jay.

Got to be this one for me even though I've never watched The Sopranos, but I'm a big Alabama 3 fan.
