My DPD tracking still hasn't moved on from 'Order data received from sender'. Disc edition from Smyths Saturday. Really hoping to have it for the weekend! Thoughts & prayers folks!

I just checked tracking and it's out for delivery! Guess I didn't need the text after all :)

    Glad I was wrong!

Does DPD deliver on Saturday? I'm still getting the please enter a valid consignment number so I doubt I'll be getting it tomorrow.

According to their FAQ, which I can't link to as this is a new boards.ie account,

"We deliver parcels to all parts of Ireland on Saturdays. It is key that you specify that these are to be delivered on Saturday when you request your collection and use Saturday delivery labels also."

    So, hopefully!

My Revolut card bounced for my Smyths pre order because they cannot take more than 250 euro or some absolute nonsense.

I then updated and used my sisters bank card at which point it charged me twice.

I then raised this with Smyths and they cancelled the whole order.
Absolute bull****. You’d be fed up.
I think because I used two different cards they cancelled the order.

You must have a limit set on Revolut or something. Mine bonced yesterday because I'd forgotten to add the funds to Revolut so I topped up and re-entered my cards on Smyths and everything went ok.

I doubt they charged your sister twice as well. One of those transactions was probably a pending charge which would have dropped off the account in two or three days.

Disc version still stuck on first status on DPD.

Abit worrying seeing people actually receiving them and my status so far behind.

Friend has digital and his DPD has gone backwards from order receiver to nothing now. Both of us in cork

Mine's the same, just luck of the draw I'd imagine. By the sounds of it they have a lot of stock to get through, and I'm sure the snow & ice isn't helping. Fingers crossed we get it before the weekend!

Mine is still saying enter valid numeric consignment number. (Disc version)

They are supposed to but in my experience they generally don't. I think it depends on the drivers in your area. The guys who serve Tipperary certainly don't work Saturdays from what I've seen.

Mine not moving either 'Please enter a valid numeric consignment number'.
DPD might be organising an armed escort for our deliveries in Cork

I’ve no limit set I spoke to Revolut support and the said for safety reasons the type of transaction that Smyths made cannot be for more than 250 euro and asked me to contact Smyths and ask them to take 2 payments of 250.

They didn’t charge her card twice I suppose they put a hold on 1000 euro which is due to be released after 48 hours.
Anyway the order is gone. Will keep an eye out for next batch. I’m in the process of getting my house done up at the moment so I prob wouldn’t have had the time to use it but I will in a week or 2.

When a large transaction goes through on Revolut do you not get a pop up in the app to authorize it? That's what happens on mine.

Mine arrived while I was on lunch. Dropped it straight out to my sisters gaff on the way back to work and her partner was like a child on Christmas! Today's a good day!

Mine is the exact same time, probably just a bulk update on their system. I have a feeling delivery times might be dependant on where you live. It would make sense for them to group delver when possible. Having said that I have zero idea where they centrally store things.

A big batch of orders there.

Some people who had got the first update from DPD got their delivery today, so some digital editions could still be delivered tomorrow. Could be based on location, or just whichever ones DPD grab first, who knows?

They're coming soon either way, but would love to spend Saturday on the couch with a PS5!

Bolded above: Ya that's what I'm thinking. DPD collected them from Smyths warehouse directly so I'd imagine a small van can only fit in so many sizeable boxes (not to mention Smyths other orders Toys..etc).

I have the exact same times as yours, I'm feeling pretty optimistic that mine will be delivered here in Dublin tomorrow.
