Basic Alarm Ststem

    Probably been asked a million times so apologies but know absolutely zip about alarm systems and need one for a new house, what would most recommend? Was thinking a standard Alarm without any monitoring and no ongoing subscription charges to keep Cody’s down. Any help greatly appreciated.

    OP an alarm system is only as good as the response it gets, the basic saying of " you pay for what you get " is relevant here.

    You could of course go for a basic set up without any notification or very limited notification, then upgrade it at a later date.

    As you mentioned you have no idea about systems, so have a look at this manufacturers site, I have never looked beyond their products :
