There was only about 191,000 of those. Must be hard for RTE to find them

RTE only want negative stories. Does he list out people who died from Covid every week?

Actually looking forward to Vicky, she doesn't let Ryan (or anyone) turn her story into misery porn. I admire her relentless optimism and attitude.

While I hope she does very well in this new trial would they not wait a few months before having her on again

Strange strange man is Tubberdy, talentless gimp with a face only for radio....

Does he have kids by any chance? not that is matters much but he's a totally joyless soul............even when he does try to get with the 'craic' you can see how out of his element he is

He does, 2 daughters, I think.

Just switched on the Player, saw the lady singing and the photos of the dead.

Now Tommie talking about the dead....

Awful shlte for a Friday night, no joy, no new up and coming comedians, no funny interviews....

Ah if the Covid doesn't get you the bullets will.........

    Good man Tommy

Why can't tubs start off on a positive to the show, again like last week we are on a downer and morbid stuff.

I lost my uncle of 78 yrs during the week and the intro is negative and morbid for a Friday night leading into the weekend.

The LLS be light hearted entertainment show not a weekly moan and misery

In fairness to Tommy, he served us well with his commentary. I wish him well.

Glad he survived his illness and has a happy retirement, but sure, he'll be back in a couple of months the way the rest of RTE are when they retire..

191k that we know of, tubridy and co would have you believe we were in plague stricken London.

Somebody mentioned gaslighting earlier but honestly, Tubridy with his "it'll be a great show tonight" while doing jazz hands with his Kermit The Frog arms, and then the show is death from start to finish.

For the love of God, will nobody shout STOP at some stage to this constant depressing content that RTE deliver day after day.

A huge bill that simply isn’t justified

Oh wait, we are talking about Tubridy’s salary?

I wouldn't mind him doing a show. Looks and sounds like he could be good craic giving the right show

Is that Tommy o Gorman, yer man who used to visit the courthouses on radio 1 in the mornings?.. he'd be of a very similar vein to tubridy..on the radio he'd be just sneering at the underclass pretty much getting them to tell their story.. yeah, very much along the lines of tubs..

  • Registered Users Posts: 55,065 ✭✭✭✭walshb

I still haven’t forgotten Tommy referring to Derry as Londonderry on occasions!

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,438 ✭✭✭KevRossi

Tubridy has something wrong with him alright. Not just the bags under the eyes, his left eye is slightly closed.

I'd say Tommy would have a few juicy stories if you caught him on the jar.....

As if that would ever happen now.....
