Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

M&S ruined this song. that pure emotion in so few notes is just unreal. so chill and soft, some layers slowly come in with that background lead guitar adding a few bits of colour. then we move off the main line and into the higher nnotes. I wish I didn't know this song. It's one of those songs that just blow your mind when you first hear them. the real mvp here so far is the background lead, it's like a distant cry for help, covered by the more up front, solid wails. musical genius.0 -

i feel some jazz coming in here. funky. lovely that drum pattern. noice. bassline very simple and solid. not sure what these crazy over the top sounds are, but they're a bit loud in my eq. feel like the drummer is the only person here who's really a musician and he just got his mates over to try and play other instruments for him hahaha. nice bit of piano there now though. i'm in a jazz club. smokey. dark. red tablecloths, whisky everywhere. the addition of the piano is vital here. drummer is wonderful. i like the loud few notes here, but i think it's fighting with the drum beat to be honest. without the drums i think it would be way nicer. but then we got what sounds like mad theramin and it fits so well. lovely. nice ending too.0 -

tappy intro. then we got the bit that everyone knows. bit of wind. ooh yeah. it's tidy. jazztastic. that roll to end the lick is just perfection. legs are dancing. i wanna be in a 50s cabaret right now. what the hell is that bit lol in the middle. gets a bit too random in the middle there. we got a nice bit of 'godfather-esque' whistley there, and then straight back into the main theme. I would have liked that to go on for a bit more. missed opportunity for me there.0 -

love a bit of lindsey stirling usually. this is nice from the start. bit of a beat here now. just makes you wanna go mental. some pluckage. noice. straight into some intensity. i like. she doesn't keep anything going too long here, so you're always intrigued. the baseline of the song continues though, everything matches well and doesn't detract. feel like i would enjoy this much more if i had some heavy bass speakers or headphones to listen with right now. a bit of a march here now. love it. we've some growing vibes here, we're on our way somewhere.... stop. go! just back to the usual. expected something different. not a fan of that ending there tbh.0 -

ok. the lads are testing out their instruments starting off. bit of sonar, bit of piano, things are sound more cohhesive. yep i think we've started. emotions straight off the bat here. I know some other 65 days, and the same is true of those other songs too. that little sonar beat. jesus you wouldn't think anything of it, but it's so important here. there's constant resolution in this song. you're always taken home. ok, we move into high pitched repeated piano notes, which i wasn't on board with. what follows is gruggy and messy feeling. mostly just sounds like noise rn tbh. drum solo to ease the tension. beastly bassy bastids. horns are nice in the bg, but there's just too much noise in the way for me. sonar and piano back. i dig it. the mess not so much. band's back in. that resolution man. my god. do they know how to resolve tension. beautiful ending there. i'm sad. I wish the mishmashmess wasn't there to have ruined it for me. could have scored way higher .0 -

I really want to like it. but it feels like my cd is just skipping and playing the same 4 seconds over and over. we've got some ooooohs in the bg now which are mixing it up. but i'm ready to fall asleep to this. is it over. I like chaos and noise, it soothes the chaos and noise in my head! If you don't throw the kitchen sink at a song then, as far as I'm concerned, there's a kitchen sink shaped hole in your song
The original is actually cleaner, but I've already used 65daysofstatic a good few times, thought I'd try something a little different. I love the fact it's a live rendition, clearly just in the corner of a bar!
