Yeah, Liverpool's Melwood training ground there in the video. Doubt he he woud have got away with wearing the Umbro England clobber! edit. Liverpool being Adidas's biggest club sponsorship at the time.

Fascinating watching this progress week by week. We're just on the verge of the Eurodance explosion and any dance tune so far is still just seen as a bit of a niche or novelty single.

It's the homemade videos and songs that charted which should start appearing over the coming months that I'm looking forward to. Stock Aitken Waterman didn't see it coming.

The Charlatans Greatest Hits had an advert which 'If The Only One I Know is The one one you know then you should get this one' which was quite clever but also made people think 'I have the only Charlatans song I like, I don't need a Greatest Hits album'

Hmm, Linekar was the only recognisable England player not to appear in the video!

Bowie documentary is decent enough. Not quite Zappa or Sun Ra but he achieved a lot more commercial success than both and they all share similarities. Still prefer Sun Ra ;)
