I am in the situation where I have 7 plus Brewster now had already made one transfer. So anymore would cost -4. I would have enough in the bank to get rid of Johnstone and get in Lloris in (Probably the best move would likely get another 2 points).
But I also have Sterling who might not be fit.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

    Ive activated my FH

    Leno(Sanchez)
    Dias Stones Tierney Dier AWB
Son Bruno KDB (Smith Rowe, Burke)
    Cavani Kane (Brewster)

A small bit nervous about 5 at the back but that front 5 hopefully has enough firepower to score points!

I have enough for leno and darlow, but i dont trust either to keep a clean sheet at the moment and i already have 3 arsenal. Im banking on save points really, its a gamble but im gonna chance it.

True, Brighton could lose 2-0 and he could still get 3/4 points. And if he saves a Kdb penalty that would soften the blow of a captain pen miss ha

Exactly, even if its a disaster for Brighton and they concede 5 etc, id imagine my captain would be involved somewhat so its not too bad.

Right second draft and fairly happy.

Lloris (Button) Counting on a Lloris CS

Wan Bissaka, Cancelo, Tierney (Yedlin, Mitchell)

Wan B for a potential CS, Cancelo & Tierney for CS and attacking potential

Son, Fernandes, KDB, Gundogan, Smith Rose

Son, Fernandes & KDB pick themselves. Gone for Gundogan as he is in decent form, 3 goals in 4 games. Smith Rose looks a good player, also in some great form.

    Laca, Kane (C) (Brewster)

Laca in good form and will most likely stick the armband on Kane.
You must have cash in the bank there? I'm looking very similar, but have Wilson instead of Brewster and another 1.1 in the bank. I'll start Wilson over Smith Rowe.

    It does answer your question.
Your question is specifically asked in the FAQ.

From below you want to BB in GW19, make a transfer + FH also.

My bad I meant can I use my free transfer plus the bb in the one game week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,060 ✭✭✭Brian201888

Really tempted to go against the grain with a weird team, most teams will be free hitting and nearly all will have 80% the same players. Have fallen way behind in my main money league with the leader steamrolling ahead so could be a great week to make up lost ground.

Sorry misread that at first, yes you can make a transfer and bench boost in 19 if you want

Updated draft based on spurs playing.

    Loris
    Cancello, Dias, Tierney
KDB (C), Bruno (vc), Son, Rashford, Saka
    Kane, Wilson

    Kilman, Mitchell, Brewster

    Here's my current FH:

    Leno
    Stones - Cancelo - Dier
    KdB - Bruno - Son - SmithRowe
    Cavani - Laca - Kane

Steele: Shaw - Mitchell - Anguisa

Shaw on the bench as cheap insurance of sorts. Tierney the main absent template option.

Two punts on Cavani and Smith-Rowe, and 2 City options in defence as I couldn't worry too much about Pep roulette further up the pitch

Lacazette is probably the greatest trap? Not entirely sure what I'd do with the funds swapping him for Wilson?

    Thats called having 5 :pac:

And not a fabulous five by any means :-)

I've pushed the FH button now...it all feels a bit futile with everything else going on atm but here's my first draft fwiw....main conundrum so far is Lacazette vs. Cavani/Martial

    Darlowbravka

    AWB | Dier | Tierney | Dias

    KDB | Son | Saka | Bruno

    Kane (C) | Lacazette

    Subs: Mitchell | Smith-Rowe | Brewster

Now that I've typed it out I think I'm leaning towards Lacazette so would need to make amendments to subs (probably ESR to Lookman)

With news now that DCL is out for Everton, I think I will go with a Wolves defender.

I doubt he was going to score anyway - :P

With the team I picked, I'll have 0.7 only left over.

Squad value pre FH was 102.5

After FH, I can see they would add up to 100.7 and 0.7 in the bank.

I'm planning to start Smith Rowe myself hence only looking for a 1 pointer for Brewster. 95% confident Smith Rowe will start.

I did that with Salah at gw 1. I thought to myself if he blanks and mane hauls I’ll get a jump on everyone. Safe to say that didn’t go well. What forward line are you looking at on the free hit? Personally I would say get Kane in there.

Lacazette and Wilson would be the 2 strikers. I've a draft with Son and Kane in alright but just feels too meh

The Spurs has completely shifted my mindset on Aubameyang. While not set yet I’m currently on:

    DDG (Sanchez)

    Tierney Cancelo Reguillon (Bogle, Mitchell)

KdB (c) Foden Saka Bruno Son

    Kane Lacazette (Davis)

Very similar team here, front 7 almost identical bar Foden and Gundogan.

I like the Foden 'punt', confident he will start? If he does, he should do well. I felt Gundogan was safer in the Pep roulette.

How does this look for a FH draft?

    Lloris
    Tierney Cancelo Holding
    KdB Son Rashford Bruno Gundogan
    Kane Wilson

Lascelles, Brewster and Mitchell as subs

Would people think im better going with Lacazette up front or try to get Rashford into the midfield? I can do either

    Rashford slightly more trustworthy.

It’s definitely not exciting but I’m happy to look forward to a notification of a spurs goal instead of dreading it. Rashford is my “exciting/slight differential” pick!

So if anyone can pick faults in this free hit team do please! Haha

    Lloris,

    Saiss, Tierney, Dias

    Saka, KDB, Son, Fernandes

    Kane, Wilson, Laca

    Guaita, Mitchell, lowton, Burke

    KDB captain atm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,794 ✭✭✭Benimar

I now have 5, with one of those being a doubt.

    FH here I come!

    On FH, currently looking at

    Lloris
    Cancello, Tierney, Awb
    Kdb, Fernandes, Son, Gungdogan
    Kane, Lacazette, Wilson

    Sanchez, Sith Rowe, Fernandez, Mitchell

Anyone see any glaring issues that I might have missed? Not overly confident on Lacazette, considering taking a gamble on Cavani

Talk that Leeds v Southampton will be out of the DGW if needs be to reschedule the Shrewsbury game. If Southampton draw one of the teams with fixture congestion in the next round later.

Honestly, I thought Shrewsbury would have to forfeit.

Not overly confident, never can be but I feel like he has put himself in a position that he must be given more opportunities now. For a one week punt I can live with Bogle comes in who I’m really tempted to start, great attacking potential & I think Sheff U will shut out those Wilson owners.

Worst case Foden comes on for 30 minutes when Brighton, who played to penalties last night, are extremely leggy

    Triple city attack?

    Leno

    Tierney, Shaw, Clark

    Gundogan, Sterling, KDB, Fernandes, Son

    Kane, Wilson

? its mad. but its a 1 week punt, Gundogan should be rested. Sterling will hopefully start, having also been technically rested.

Poster above me indicating leggy tired Brighton and I am just so greedy...

Why would Gun-dog be rested? He didn’t start the FA cup game!

Forfeits seem to be the very last resort. I can see them coming though if another team playing City or Spurs have a covid outbreak.
