Ya Fulham unhappy about it as they have only found out after there cup game so obviously they would have played a different team. Hard to see it going ahead if Fulham aren't happy

Yeah, it would not be right at all on Fulham.

I see why the Premier League are in a fixture panic, but come on.

I just hope they make a feckin decision by at least 2pm tomorrow!

It is looking alot like they are gonna dump the fixture on Fulham. That is really poor form.

They can’t complain about the idea of playing 2 games in 3 days as almost all other clubs had the situation over Christmas when they had the break with Covid.

Yes, but clubs would have known what games were coming up and been able to plan accordingly. They probably have scouts and coaches who do pre-prep for games a few weeks in advance at least.

Fulham and Spurs of course, will have had no chance to do normal prep and probably havent even looked at their pre-prep yet. It affects Spurs less because at least they were planning for a game but fulham were getting ready to enjoy a break

As someone else said, Fulham may have played a different team at the weekend if they knew they had this game.

Their postponed game was done 3 hours before they were due to kick off. I’m sure they had each other well scouted by then and the teams have hardly had a massive change since in fairness

Fulham at home certainly a more appealing fixture than Villa away...

Kane and Son would likely be in my team for either fixture, but for Fulham I'd be tempted by putting the armband on Kane possibly, and certainly adding a Spurs defender

It’s more a case Fulham are done to play on Friday also which would mean 3 games in less then 7 days.

However they may be looking at moving this game to the Saturday.

Question then is how do they fill the void of the TV broadcasting team who have the Friday game. They’ll need Chelsea involved and another 2 teams to agree the switch!

I think it’s unfair in Fulham with 2 days notice. However, Fulham had 2 of their games postponed so I guess they have less room for complaint than any of the other teams would in this situation.

Nobody has been accommodated more than them to date. Villa may equal that if the Everton game is on at the weekend, but I think that one will be on. Maybe on Sunday now with the switching going around.

Think there won’t be a Friday game now. So expect the deadline to move to Saturday.

Yeah it looks like Chelsea Fulham will be moving to Saturday now. Good for fpl as we'll have an extra day of info before deadline.

So Fulham-Chelsea will be moved to the Saturday and Villa-Everton will potentially be moved to Sunday to allow Villa a bit more time to prepare.

Be interesting to see if no Friday game & how Ole / Klopp respond to this following their outbursts at 12:30 games

The answer they received was broadcasting contracts need to be fulfilled.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,083 ✭✭✭Chesty08

Looks like all the games are SkySports broadcasts

Wednesday 8pm game is SkySports, The 5:30pm Villa/Everton game is Sky (this will become Fulham/Chelsea) and then Villa/Everton will be pushed to Sunday possibly 12pm kick off.

They are going to run with this. Time to start a reshape

    Kane is a must now

3x Spurs, 3x United, 3x City, 2x Arsenal and a playing bench is what I'll go for I think

    Need a spurs defender now

Just a quick one for some clarity.

I’m gonna bench boost gw19. It’s ok to make a transfer after tomorrow evenings deadline for gw19 and use the free hit also?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,288 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Dang I planned to tip along this gw without using the FH. Looks like I’ll be forced into it now. 8 but DCL and Charlie Taylor drops my team to 6.

Means the deadline for the DGW goes back too....could be important given how quickly situations are changing

This spurs v Fulham makes it so so much easier.

Kane, Son, Lloris or Reguilion or maybe TOBY as differential.

Who to captain though? Kane seems more appealing than Bruno or KDB...
