Converted my BTC to Euros earlier and just now went back into Cardano and Dot.
Hard to know if it'll drop further at this stage

Bitcoin is still up 4% on this day last week

And rising again! Buy in the dip!

22% down from yesterday’s high one point. Remember the last bull run had multiple 30%+ pull backs.

Need to shake out the weak.

Anyone else having issue with Binance? I can't deposit any euro with card or sepa transfer or buy direct with card. The system keeps telling me I need to verify my identification even though I am already verified and have made multiple purchases already. No way around it either, if I click verify it tells me I'm verified already and keeps going round in circles. Anyone any clue what's going on?

    "Buy the dip"
    "Shake out the weak hands"
    "Big sale on"
"You won't get a chance at these prices again"

    Have to love bull runs

They’ve been right since 2010 in fairness. The only Bitcoiners in the red here are those that bought in the past 5 days or those that stupidly used leverage and got rekt along the way.

I'm waiting for an opportunity to jump in on BTC not huge amounts at all but just extra cash I have around. Impossible to know but what's the hunch? Should I get in now or do we think we will see 25k?

Whenever you want. No idea why people ask financial advise, most people are having a punt.

Stick in money that you can afford to lose. Then don't panic if it drops 50%. In 3 years it could be worth 500%. Or 10%.

Remember, money you can afford to lose. The mugs imo stick in money they can't afford to lose and then panic when it drops 30% and sell.

Might be like the 4th of January alright but I'd be looking for more confluence at the 35 k before going long

Theres a CME gap up around 40K (cant recall exact figure). They get filled 99% of the time. Considering we are still in a bull market I think once institutions come online shortly we could see a sharp rise today back to the 37-39k price range.

Does anyone know if the MTGox list of creditors are available online to view?

Thinking about it now, crypto seems to be very punitive to administrative mistakes :D. Bit of a double-edged sword with the no reversals, what happens if there's a typo in the contract
Look up "flash loan exploit". Depending on what you're doing in defi it can be risky, those exploits took advantage of how those contracts were supposed to operate and the instantly irreversible nature of it all. No bad code or misspellings necessary, just interoperability with no precautions taken between teams. They coded their projects in a bubble and didn't quite get the scope of what could be done if people decided to make a few of these contracts interact instantly.

A tough learning lesson for any of the teams involved and the users who had their money swiped.

Thinking of getting a tiny holding of crypto on a dip. Is coinbase still the best app to use? Does anyone want to pm me a referral for it or another low fee platform?

    Thanks.

When is the dip? How do you know this is a dip and not a crash? Welcome to the joys of crypto

A lot of the new entrants (of which there are many) will be terrified of this 15%+ drop. For anyone used to the stock market or pretty much any other market it's mindboggling drop. Of course in crypto, it's just another Monday.

25k? In my view this is the crash (same as nov/dec 2017 / jan 2018) wait a bit (no pun intended) and you could see 5k!

Im very time rich at the moment so popcorn is ready

One guy last week said we ll see 100 k a BTC before we'll see 20 k

And now you are saying 5 k

I thought the minor alt pump last week was similar to the last leg of the Jan 2018 bull run which ended badly

How come the 4 year cycle has become a 3 year cycle? And why would the funds who were happily purchasing many hundreds of millions worth of BTC when it was $15k to $21k not be buying from $5k-$15k?

I hope you're right though, cheap coins are good for the soul.

Couldn't the 4 year thing just be a coincidence. We are in a somewhat extraordinary period in history with a global pandemic and a lot of unemployment.

Possibly, crypto has so little history and relies so much on herd psychology that it grasps onto anything

Bull 2013, bull 2017, therefore "4 year cycle", which becomes it's own self-fulfilling prophecy
