This show is a total set up. Tiernan 100% is aware of the guests coming up, his questions and anecdotes specific to the guests are well rehearsed.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

It's entertaining television regardless of if he knows or not.

This is turning into something you would see on Dr Phil.

An unusual bum note from TT asking that in front of his daughter.

The show is recorded, so they could stop during filming while Tiernan gathers some notes and continues the interview. Alternatively, he could be given a list of upcoming guests for the season ahead and he does his own research. He is then able to recall what he might have learned as the interview progresses.

Maybe so, but it doesn't really change the end product all that much.

The brothers were gas in fairness. Up for the craic. I'd like to have a chat with them in a pub after s few pints.

This father and daughter combo is very boring for me anyways.

Hoping for a strong final guest(s).

Ah they're two intelligent people I don't think they be upset by something as inane as that.

Pat Kenny asked Brendan if the Healy Rae's had been any help to him in the planning debacle....his response was "that's a story for another day"

That'd make a very interesting interview.

The Begleys and Healy Rae's do not shine. By that Brendan meant he could denegrate the character of the HR's but he won't on a national radio station. He has spoken about it before!

I'll tell you what it means.

It means TT got close to dirty old man territory.

I like him a lot so I hope he got away with it. :)
